Please reach us at Thrivepelvicwellness@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Thrive, we know you are more than just a collection of Pelvic Health symptoms. We take a close look at the whole you; your habits and routines, the way you move, the way you breathe, what you eat and drink, what you like to do, your goals, and who you are as an individual. We know that pelvic symptoms can be deeply personal, emotional, and scary. We will meet you where you're at, every step of the way. We work with you to get to the root cause of your symptoms, and provide you lasting relief, not just a temporary band-aid. If you've tried pelvic therapy elsewhere without achieving the results you wanted, if you're looking for something more than just internal treatment and biofeedback, if you want to learn more about your body and take control of your symptoms, then Thrive is the place for you!
During your initial evaluation we will discuss your symptoms, history, and goals. We will perform a thorough evaluation of your posture, breathing, movement, and daily habits. Every step along the way we will explain what we are looking at and why, so that you leave with a new understanding of your body, how it works, and what may be contributing to your pelvic symptoms. Together, we will make a plan of care to best address your specific goals and needs.
No! While internal assessment and treatment can be an effective option for many pelvic health conditions, it is not the only tool in our toolbox. (Just one of the reasons Thrive is different from other pelvic therapy options!) Internal treatment is only performed with your full consent and understanding, and is always your choice. If we feel that an internal assessment may be beneficial for you we will have a conversation to discuss what this looks like, why we think it would be useful, and multiple options for you to consider. If you never want to hear the term 'internal treatment', don't worry, we got your back (and pelvis)!
